Happy Thanksgiving (Unless You're Canadian, In Which Case, Happy Totally Ordinary Thursday)!

What am I thankful for, you ask? Hmm, let's see ...

I am thankful that I have so many people to love that we don't all fit on one curly slide.

I am thankful that this baby's head is kissably soft and sweet-smelling.

I am thankful that the aquaintence who told me, back when I was pregnant with Max, that boys are fun but they don't like to snuggle, was only half right.

I guess that pretty much sums it up.

You guys are 4 of the reasons I'm thankful, too. Have a great day, ordinary or otherwise!

Why are our thanksgivings not the same day???? Do you know? I don't, but happy thanksgiving to you anyway, and my thursday was a pretty ordinary work day :) thank you.

I have no idea why they are not the same. Yet another example of American orneriness, I guess.

Canada celebrates first because they are smart enough to know that it takes at least 2 months to work off the Thanksgiving dinner. That way the stomachs are empty and ready for Christmas dinner. Unless of course, you've been filling up on moose and bear and whatnot in between.

Well i shot me a moose for thanksgiving so i wouldn't get tired of turkey at Christmas. BUT i still gotta catch me the turkey and if i can't get the turkey i may just have to have tofurky. :)

I'm sorry Penny, but Tofuturkey is native only to California. I don't think it can survive in the wilderness of Canada. So, if you want Tofuturkey you are welcome to join us in California next year for Thanksgiving on one of your ordinary Thursdays in November :>

Just to let you know Eileen...i found tofurky in the freezer section of the Nelson grocery store....so i guess California exports :)
